It is with great sadness that I have to announce the death of a well-loved and long-standing supporter of the Inverness Opera Company.
Margaret Herd passed away on
Monday, 4th February 2013.
Margaret is the mother of Aileen Hendry who has played in many Opera Company productions.
She never missed a show, working behind the scenes with Jan Proudfoot in the Green Room serving up refreshments to the cast during the week of the show.
We'll miss her ready smile and words of encouragement.
Our thoughts go out to Margaret's family at this time.
The funeral service will be at 1 pm on
Thursday, 21st February 2013,
at Ness Bank Church, Inverness.
